I’m Eric Morris, an economic thinker, teacher, and researcher who’s made a career out of using economics to help people better understand the complex happenings of our world. I’m passionate about helping people use economic insights to inform decisions and actions as they strive to make the most of life.
The economo newsletter is my effort to provide the next generation of entrepreneurs, investors, thinkers, doers, and leaders with straightforward economic insights regarding macro, markets, and more. I spent several years as a think-tank researcher and consultant, and I’ve dedicated most of the last decade to teaching economics at the college and secondary level. In this newsletter I’ll use my expertise as a master’s-level economist and doctorate-level educator to make practical sense out of complex issues and share that with you. Enjoy.
